Thanks to the National Research Center for Information Science and Technology (THU) and Key Laboratory of Computer Vision and System, Ministry of Education (TUT), under the guidance of Prof. Zhou Yuxi, I carried out study and research in the field of video action recognition, and implement a video action recognition system based on non-uniform frame sampling and spatial attention in conjunction with the Gradio framework. Introduction:

The real-time sign language translation system identifies sign languages of hearing-impaired groups and translates to normal hearing people in words or voice, so as to build a bridge of communication. It combines gesture, position, direction, movement and facial expressions, which fulfils the requirements of sign language interpreting, and has now been applied to education, competition, transportation, and health care fields by China Association for the Deaf, providing API for Internet developers and software service providers. 

Highlights:

a) A high-quality platform containing sign language data training resources, facing AI applications. The datasets are the largest sequent sign language sentence datasets in the world.
b) Integrate the identification and translation of sign languages by multi-dimensions and multiple information channels, targeting the demand for identifying large-scaled and open-ended sign languages in a sophisticated environment.

Thanks to Accessibility Intelligent Technology R&D Center (TUT) and Prof. Yuan Tiantian. Projects also received two software copyrights from the National Copyright Administration of the People’s Republic of China. Tianjin University of Technology, Li Youxia is the First Inventor.

In my digital image processing course in my third year, I independently implemented a simple digital recognition system for natural scenes with the MLP model. Link

During the Professional Cognition Practice of Chinasoft International Limited, I developed a WeChat Mini Program:

  • Designed and implemented a WeChat Mini Program related to notification management with the Taro framework;
  • Realized the functions of creating channels and the send-and-receive of messages;
  • Developed an invitation code to allow users to subscribe to specific channels;
  • Won the Excellent Group Award.
